Dangers	By strong meltem, the wind speed is clearly above what you knew in the far sea and the sea greatly chaotic. Advise of fishermen: if there is fog like a banner above the Chora, bad weather will soon come.	Forecast svces
Lights
		The Harbour
		Access	SE of the island.
		Draught	<2-3,50m
		Description	30 berths at quay (reserved for yachting). Moor alee of it by meltem. Often full in Summer. The quay has been modernised. Take in account that the quay on commercial Side doesn’t offer a great length for mooring line.
Anchorage	Anchorage, much more peaceful, in front of the beach, on sand bottom. Be careful, the number of fixer anchorages did considerably increase. Seawed bottom but too soft to anchor well. Works are foreseen to transform the harbour in a vast complex (marina + passenger harbour) for a total (indicated on EEC panel) of 50 millions €!!	$\"(JPEG)\"$ ©Bourgeois $\"(JPEG)\"$
Services	Ask for water to the waterman. Good pressure but quite expensive (10€ for 300 litres).

the Place
Victualling	Small supermarkets, enough vegetable shops, one find anything. Fresh fish is at 8h at quay when fishermen come back and after villagers have been served. Rental svces	Everything possible.
Various svces
Setting	A village terraced on the hill, accessible by a stairway from the harbour: a beautiful walk. Or a regular bus makes the shuttle. This island shall have been cleaned of its wandering cats during Winter 2006/2007. One sees none of them now.
